Food History Exhibits 2012

Below are 8 current food history related exhibits.

The Land of Penn and Plenty: Bringing History to the Table is the 2012 theme for the museums of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.  HERE  March 11 is the annual Charter Day, when many of the PHMC museums have free admission. For the list of participating museums click HERE

Apr 28 -- Jan 6 2013 Uncorked! Wine, Objects & Tradition. Winterthur Museum. Wilmington, DE Winterthur Museum had an exhibit on Wine, Objects and Tradition. Many of the items and pictures from the exhibit are online HERE

-- summer 2013 Hoecakes & Hospitality: Cooking with Martha Washington. Mount Vernon, VA The exhibit contained cookbooks and items from the kitchen and dining room, with scents (cinnamon, coffee, herbs and warm bread) and sounds (birds in garden, clinking tableware).
